Wow what a couple of weeks. It seems like I have been going a mile a minute, I’m sure you are feeling my pain. I hope you got to make it to back to school night. They are really proud of their writing and work around being a courageous problem solver. We have really nailed the courageous part in the first few weeks of school. We are in touch with the idea that sometimes doing what is right takes courage. Throughout the rest of the year we will be working to tie it to problem solving, then how we can use our skills as a problem solver to help our communities.
I hope you have signed up for conferences. I had a record 26 families sign up last night! If you forget when you signed up go to the forms page and you will find the schedule posted. If you have not signed up yet please look at the schedule and email me with the time you want.
We had a BEAUTIFUL day for our Creative Arts Run. We could not have asked for better weather. Look for your pledge sheets coming home on Monday (I did not quite get them handed back out today).
We started Passport club this week (I got all 5 levels in case you were keeping track). It was really fun. The parents who run the passport club are amazing and we always have a great time when we go. They will soon receive a map for testing on the last Monday of October. They can study if they want to get all 5 levels or if they are not all that interested in it, they can just come and learn the 1st level that day. No pressure and Char always has a really cool cultural project. As soon as we get the October maps I will post it in case you loose your map. Have a great weekend!
